If you are looking after a friend or relative, Caring with Confidence can help you to make a positive difference to your life and that of the person you look after.

Caring with Confidence is part of the Government's 'New Deal for Carers' - an initiative aimed at improving support for carers aged 18 and over in England.

Carers can choose how they get involved, either by attending local group sessions, completing self-study workbooks, by accessing online sessions or a combination of all three.

Government launch National Carers Strategy - 'Carers at the heart of 21 st Century families and communities'

BGOP provides subscribers with impetus and practical support to bring about the changing public service agenda locally:
